MaKenzie's 3rd Birthday

(Anmer here!) MaKenzie had a birthday party a couple weeks ago at "Mommy Amanda's", but today was her actual birthday. We made cinnamon rolls for breakfast, she opened gifts, and yesterday MaKayla and Dad baked a cake. Baking is a special thing they sometimes do together. :) Happy Birthday, munchkin!

On Sunday we spent the day in College Station.  We started out visiting a church that is one of the ones Mason is considering attending.  Then we went to campus for a little while.  Here is where he will be spending most of his time at A&M.

We love the purpose of the student's center.  They take the rules very seriously there and NO ONE even considers walking on the grass.
The George HW Bush Library is located on the campus.  I loved it!!

Mal did not know I was taking this picture.  She was done with the museum quite early in the tour.
This is the area where George and Barbara will be buried, and it is where their daughter is buried now.  Robin died of leukemia just before her 4th birthday.

We ended the day at Santa's Wonderland.

I know I posted these pictures last year, but I just love the way the park represents Jesus.  The nativity, cross, and resurrection are the final parts of the light display.  Only in Texas!!

Having a kid in college makes the holiday EXTRA special!

Love, love that moment when Luke walks in the door. He couldn't be happier at Tech, but I love that he also loves to come home.

Anmer turns 17 :)

Anmer had a wonderful birthday celebration.  She and Andrew had a shared party the week before her birthday (posted on old blog).  We all really enjoyed the visits from Elaine and Lainie!!
The evening of the 8th, there was a dance party with the teen homeschool group, and she REALLY enjoyed dancing and visiting with her friends.  I enjoyed spending the evening with mom as we ate and watched the kids dance.  Anmer is a true delight and blessing to our family!

Mallory's 16th Birthday

Thanks, Julie!  I wasn't able to get on the old blog to post this, so thanks for starting a new one.

Mal's 16 roses from her daddy.

A major part of the party was playing Ultimate Frisbee on the field.  It had rained a few days before, and the field was quite wet.  Tim and Mason worked very hard getting it ready.  Their work included spreading 600 pounds of sand!

We had about 35 people over for a fun outside party.
